The fans are counting down the days to the revival of the 24H Spa EWC Motos at the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, and in the ranks of the competitors taking part in the ‘4 Hours of Spa Classic’, a glittering event as curtain raiser, the tension is becoming tangible. A mere two weeks from the big day, information keeps on flowing, heralding a quality event, which will give pride of place to the machines known as ‘Youngtimers’, built between 1980 and 2001.

Starting off this latest overview with the newest arrivals on the list of entrants. The latter come to reinforce the Belgian contingent already confirmed. If on the one hand Team Performance 55, who will be entering a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 dating from 2001 for Olivier Bolmont and Cédric Rosmant, in the SBK-Pro category, the two other formations, namely Nix Motoren, with Peter Rogiers and Herbert Nickmans, and Warpspeed Classic Racing 2, with Jo Nuyts and Eric Van Der Sypt, have each entered a Suzuki GSX-R 750 dating from the beginning of the ‘90s, further strengthening the troops of the SSK-Pro category. Other teams will be formalising their presence in the coming days.

These three teams, similar to all to others in fact, will benefit from a small box in the Endurance zone, allowing them to take full advantage of the 240 minutes of racing, and make the most of managing their passage via the pitlane.

If on the one hand the Parade on Wednesday evening, in the heart of Malmedy, still features in the official timing of the 24H Spa EWC Motos, DG Sport, organisers of the 4 Hours of Spa Classic, on Saturday evening will be organising, well after the finish of the race, a Bikers’Party at the Villa of la Source.
